The multicentric CIBIS–ELD trial compares two different pharmacological beta-blockers in elderly patients with chronic heart failure.
The CIBIS–ELD trial compares two different pharmacological beta-blockers, Bisoprolol and Carvedilol in elderly patients with chronic heart failure. In a typical heart failure collective, the highly selective betablocker Bisoprolol is compared to the non-selective alpha and betablocker Carvedilol in terms of therapeutic efficacy and tolerability.
